Dr. Bain is very involved in the care of stroke patients through his neurovascular interventional and endovascular neurosurgery practice at the Cleveland Clinic. Beginning his experience with endovascular and cerebrovascular/skull base neurosurgical fellowships, Dr. Bain has significant interest in developing and perfecting assessments, evaluations, interventions and outcomes for safe and efficacious hemorrhagic interventions. Dr. Bain’s practice at the Cleveland Clinic is 100% endovascular and cerebrovascular neurosurgery, with research and resident/fellow education components included. There are more than 3,000 stroke admissions to our hospital annually – Dr. Bain’s involvement in outpatient clinic, inpatient service, acute stroke and/or hemorrhagic response teams provides appropriate interaction with stroke patients and families to advance research in the field through patient recruitment/enrollment, analysis, outcomes and quality measures. Dr. Bain is committed to and interested in generating and reviewing unbiased data in order to improve stroke care and outcomes.
