Linda L. Hermann, PhD, AGACNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACHPN, FAANP, is Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Dr. Herrmann’s area of research is acute neurological injury, particularly brain injury, in older adults; policy as it pertains to patient access to post -acute care services and rehabilitation; caregiver/patient experience of hospitalization and recovery; and recovery following stroke. Dr. Herrmann maintains an active clinical practice in neurosurgery at New York University Langone Medical Center. Dr. Herrmann is an international consultant, between New York University, the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute in Tanzania and the South Central University in Changsha, China. She is also a Fellow in the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing and a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
